Research Interests
· Maternal and child nutrition in developing countries.
· Development of maternal weight gain curves during pregnancy (special focus on 2nd and 3rd trimesters).
· Contribution of food-based interventions to household food and nutrition security.

Senior Research Assistant, University for Development studies, 2001 to Date.

Research team member; Assessment of nutritional status of adolescents and women of reproductive age. A UNICEF sponsored project in six districts of Northern Ghana.

Research team member, UNICEF sponsored and LINKAGES led evaluation of current breastfeeding and complementary feeding patterns in Savelugu-Nanton, Tolon-Kumbungu, Builsa and Yendi Districts of Northern Ghana, April 2003 – July 2003.
